Una empresa de fabricación internacional en Tijuana busca un profesional para liderar el departamento de MP&L. Este rol implica supervisar las operaciones diarias y desarrollar al equipo para futuros proyectos. Se requiere experiencia en la industria automotriz o de manufactura, junto con habilidades de negociación y conocimientos en gestión de inventarios. Es una posición a tiempo completo, presencial, con jornada de lunes a viernes. Se ofrece un entorno dinámico y la oportunidad de contribuir al crecimiento del equipo.

Formación

  • 3+ años de experiencia supervisiva en manufactura.
  • Conocimientos en finanzas, logística y procesos de compra.
  • Experiencia en empresas internacionales en cadena de suministro.

Responsabilidades

  • Gestionar el equipo y las actividades diarias en el departamento de MP&L.
  • Desarrollar e implementar planes estratégicos de la cadena de suministro.
  • Supervisar el control de inventarios y la planificación de la demanda.
  • Asegurar la entrega oportuna de materiales y gestionar logística.

Conocimientos

Experiencia en la industria automotriz o de fabricación
Conocimientos en gestión de inventarios
Habilidades de negociación
Nivel avanzado de inglés

Educación

Licenciatura en Negocios, Operaciones, o Gestión de la Cadena de Suministro

  • In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day activities for a MP&L department in a fast-paced growing facility while also developing a team for future priorities.

The experience we're looking to add to our team : We seek automotive or industrial manufacturing culture Experience in managing and directing staff involved in inventory distribution Knowledge of inventory management techniques and strategies Knowledge on Construction type industry is a plus Ability to achieve Materials PNL goals Familiarity with quality standards and procedures Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage customer expectations Advanced English level What You Will Do Strategic Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team in executing strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor the MP&L team, fostering a mindset of zero misses, innovation, and principled-based decision-making.

Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.

Operational Excellence : Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity to ensure customer requirements and shipping demands.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operations with broader business objectives.

Lead initiatives to enhance collaboration between departments and improve overall business performance.

Core Functions : Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans for the new facility.

Manage all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.

Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and demand planning.

Ensure on-time delivery and manage logistics for inbound and outbound materials.

Experiência y requisitos
  • Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Supplier Chain Management or related field (concentrating on scheduling, materials management, customer service).
  • Supervisory experience with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.
  • Understanding of accounting finance, credit, logistics, purchasing and Manufacturing processes.
  • Minimum 3 years supply chain and business related experience in International companies.
  • What a typical day looks like : Manages, controls, and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
  • Manages, controls, and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified, and that material is handled, stored, and delivered properly.
  • Coordinates with purchasing, project managers, operations managers, and warehouse team In charge of accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.
  • Reviews, plans, and approves purchase orders and change notices.
  • In charge of the disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
