Main Responsibilities Include
- Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies.
- Understand engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration.
- Support and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget.
- Support all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation.
- Support flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking (Scope, Timing, and Cost).
- Participate in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guiding systematic root cause problem-solving methods to address risks.
- Develop and improve processes, cutting tools, fixtures, touch detail, and equipment standards related to facilities infrastructure.
- Drive standardization across plants in all regions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline or 5 years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats.
- Ability to embrace cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and resolve them.
- Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferred 10 years of manufacturing experience, with Powertrain Manufacturing experience being a plus.
- Preferred 5 years’ experience in program management or a multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing products.
