A logistics company in Mexico is seeking a Shipment and Customer Service Coordinator to manage the shipping process for global customers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 2 years in shipping logistics, and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include generating pick tickets, coordinating freight, and providing customer service functions. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential. Formación

  • 2 years of experience in shipping and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping and documentation requirements.
  • 1 year of medical product’s customer service/order entry experience preferred.

Overview

This position is responsible for the logistical processing of all shipments to AirLife global customers and sales staff. The primary role of this position is to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of AirLife products to our customer base. In addition, customer service and support will be an integral portion of this position. As needed, telemarketing opportunities will be integrated into this role.

Responsibilities
  • Generate pick tickets daily for processing and staging of domestic and international orders.
  • Research and obtain quotes and coordinate containers and freight pick-ups for outbound goods.
  • Trouble-shoot, resolve and report on shipping issues for domestic and international orders.
  • Schedule pick-ups with couriers and complete all applicable shipping documentation.
  • Review and submit for approval all carrier invoices to AP.
  • Maintain, revise and review carrier contracts and submit new/revised contracts for approval.
  • Provide timely reporting on order status as required by the customer and sales.
  • Provide customer service representative functions including order entry, tracking information and order status information as needed.
  • Provide telemarketing functions as time permits to selected customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in shipping and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping and documentation requirements.
  • 1 year of medical product’s customer service/order entry experience (preferred).
  • Customer Service Representative/Order Entry experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable operator of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well with others under pressure.
