Job Description
Position Overview

We’re searching for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Customer Support team in a remote location. To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop innovative learning materials, including eLearning modules, videos, facilitator guides, job aids, and assessments
  • Facilitate engaging instructor‑led and virtual training programs that support employee development and performance
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to build effective and engaging learning experiences aligned with business outcomes
  • Knowledge of training strategies and principles, including adult learning theories
  • Conduct needs assessments, task analyses, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Maintain content libraries, version control, and documentation for all training materials
  • Partner with SMEs and leaders to conduct needs analysis and validate learning objectives
  • Stay current with industry standards, learning technologies, and best practices to enhance learning offerings
  • Support training‑related projects and initiatives as required

Your experience may include:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Learning & Development, including instructional design and training facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training programs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Successful track record in a dynamic, fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
  • Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience supporting new or enhanced product launches within a technology organization
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with leaders at all levels
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day deliverables
You may have other skills or credentials, including:
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise)
  • Proficiency with Camtasia for multimedia development
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel)
  • Experience working with multimedia training methods and platforms.
  • Salesforce or case management knowledge/experience
  • Experience in virtual Contact Center, Customer Service, or Support environments
  • Experience in tech, insurance, or business consulting environments
  • Experience with Synthesia, Asana, Zoom, Confluence, and Jira is preferred

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $55,000 - $75,000 USD. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities.
