A Snapshot of Your Day: As a Software Developer, you will be an essential part of the local Software Development team supporting the Siemens Energy Gibsonton manufacturing facility.
As a digital company, Siemens Energy continuously deploys and enhances IT systems and applications to support day-to-day shop operations.
On a typical day, you will work alongside the development team to implement software solutions and provide support for various applications and tools.
Translate application User Stories and Use Cases into functional applications or improvements.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and readability.
Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Development stack.
Familiarity with .NET framework.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Skill for writing reusable C# libraries.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillset, familiarity with data science and artificial intelligence.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels and backgrounds, from Senior Management to Blue-Collar workforce.
You are curious and motivated to learn about technologies and how they can be deployed to improve factory operations.
