Job Summary: The Information Technology (IT) Network & Support Engineer provides highly specialized technical support to all manufacturing sites, warehouses, and corporate offices. The role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including setting up networks, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance from a cybersecurity standpoint. In addition, the engineer may lead the support team or serve as an individual contributor on technical duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting systems and hardware.
- Responsible for analyzing and maintaining a call log of IT support issues / tickets networking related to discover trends to proactively reduce ongoing issues.
- Ensuring systems and hardware security. Monitors online security for users and networks and takes appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detections systems, and access controls.
- Upgrading systems and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software configurations.
- Collaborating with other IT professionals, vendors, and service providers to ensure network efficiency and security.
- Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Leads the IT Support staff to execute training and orientation for new technology users of the organization and helps them become familiar with equipment and networks.
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management.
- Implement zero-trust architecture and MFA.
- Maintain compliance with standards like ISO 27001.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field (preferred).
- English proficiency at the B1 level, with the expectation of reaching C1 within the next six months.
- At least 3 years of proven professional experience in an IT Network Engineering role, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in the following competencies:
- Networking: Protocols – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN.
- Security Tools – Firewalls (SonicWall desirable), IDS/IPS, SIEM.
- Virtualization / Cloud – Hyper‑V, AWS, Azure networking, MS tenant.
- Monitoring Tools – Azure Security platform, Service Desk Plus session management.
- Certifications – CompTIA Network+, Security+ are desirable.
