A multinational company in the industrial calibration sector is looking for a Group IT Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the availability, performance and continuous evolution of the Group’s IT infrastructure, in alignment with corporate IT and information security policies.
This position provides international / group-level support, collaborating with IT teams across multiple countries and participating in infrastructure projects in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within IT Infrastructure / Corporate IT environments.
- English level: Conversational (minimum B2).
- Availability for occasional international travel (approximately 5–6 trips per year).
- Ability to work autonomously and report activities in a structured and timely manner.
Technical Requirements
Required / Core Skills
- Solid experience in corporate or enterprise IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure IaaS / PaaS or equivalent)
- Experience with on-premise infrastructure and virtualization
- Background working with database servers
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Understanding of enterprise networking and security fundamentals
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery concepts
Considered a Plus
- Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet firewalls
- Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS or SASE environments
- Exposure to EDR, IAM or SIEM solutions (e.g. SentinelOne, Okta, Entra ID)
- Knowledge of UEM / MDM tools
- Participation in IT infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, manage and maintain the Group’s IT infrastructure (networks, systems, servers and security).
- Ensure high availability and operational continuity of the corporate IT infrastructure.
- Administer networks, servers, storage, backups, identity management and collaboration tools.
- Support the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group IT ecosystem.
- Monitor infrastructure systems and proactively identify and resolve incidents or risks.
- Ensure compliance with Group IT and information security policies.
- Provide Level 3 support for critical incidents and complex requests.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, including design, implementation and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (HLD, LLD, procedures).
- Coordinate activities with external service providers and local IT teams.
- Conduct technology watch and propose improvements.
