A global machinery manufacturer is seeking a Human Resources Manager responsible for implementing HR strategies and providing support across all HR functions. The role involves collaborating with management, overseeing HR services, and fostering employee engagement. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in HR or related fields, be fluent in English, and demonstrate strong business acumen and leadership skills. This full-time position is located in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and requires in-office attendance five days a week.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align with business objectives while serving as a multifaceted generalist across all HR functions. This role is pivotal in creating an environment that values employee engagement, talent development, and organizational excellence. The Manager provides expert guidance on a broad range of HR policies and practices, ensuring a positive workplace culture and progressive people management.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate closely with management as a proactive advisor, identifying and prioritizing HR initiatives that support the organization’s strategic vision.
  • Generalist HR Support: Oversee and deliver end-to-end HR services including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent development.
  • Policy Alignment and Engagement: Develop and implement HR policies and programs that promote employee engagement, well-being, retention, and high performance within the business unit or region.
  • Coaching and Leadership Guidance: Act as a trusted coach, offering practical guidance to leaders and managers on all HR-related matters to drive effective people management.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities, address challenges, and provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of HR professionals, fostering collaboration with Centers of Excellence and positioning HR as a thought leader and partner to the business.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent English
Skills:
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business principles, enabling sound decision-making and effective alignment of HR initiatives with company goals.
  • Global Perspective: Awareness of international HR practices; able to adapt and operate effectively in diverse cultural and legal environments.
  • Organizational Savvy: Thorough knowledge of the organization’s structure, culture, and strategic direction, with the ability to navigate and influence both formal and informal networks.
  • Critical Thinking and Decision Making: Skilled at gathering and analyzing information, applying critical thinking to make informed and timely HR decisions.
  • Influencing and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships, present persuasive arguments, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Employee Relations: Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and best practice; adept at managing sensitive issues and fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Talent Management: Experienced in attracting, assessing, developing, and retaining talent to ensure organizational capability and performance.

  • This position is 5 days a week in-office model.
