Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Hotel Lead to spearhead hospitality development projects across Latin America. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience in hotel development, a proven track record in delivering large-scale projects, and a robust industry network. The successful candidate will drive excellence in project execution, ensure alignment with client objectives, and contribute to the growth of our hospitality portfolio in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership : Direct hotel development projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Governance & Compliance : Implement and maintain robust project governance frameworks, processes, and systems throughout the lifecycle.
  • Planning & Execution : Oversee detailed project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Team Management : Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Financial Oversight : Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement strategies, and vendor negotiations.
  • Quality & Safety : Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain transparent communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders through regular updates and formal reporting.
  • Business Development : Leverage industry relationships to identify new opportunities and support regional growth initiatives.
  • Strategic Advisory : Provide expert input on delivery models, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting & Systems : Ensure accurate invoicing, financial tracking, and documentation using internal systems.
Qualifications
  • Education : Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience : Minimum 15 years in hospitality development, with a strong focus on hotel projects in LATAM.
  • Leadership : Demonstrated success in managing large-scale hotel developments, including new builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of project management methodologies, procurement processes, and contractor oversight.
  • Industry Network : Strong connections with developers, operators, and service providers in the hospitality sector.
  • Language Skills : Spanish fluency required; English proficiency at an intermediate or higher level.
  • Financial Acumen : Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Soft Skills : Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities; capable of thriving under pressure and driving results.
