An evolving airline company located in Tapachula, Mexico, is seeking an ESG Reporting Manager responsible for managing the execution of ESG reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in sustainability and ESG reporting, possessing advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with SAP and Workiva. Formación

  • 7+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks.
  • Certifications in sustainability or ESG reporting (highly desirable).

ESG Reporting Manager

The ESG Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the execution of ESG reporting processes, ensuring quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance of non-financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the ESG reporting calendar.
  • Coordinate data requests, deadlines and quality reviews to ensure timely submission to auditors, investors and the CNBV.
  • Manage ICSR controls implementation.
  • Ensure each process owner executes documented controls for accuracy, completeness and traceability of data (Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, safety, HR metrics).
  • Perform control testing and document results.
  • Design test plans, sample sizes and evaluation criteria; report control deficiencies and follow up on remediation actions.
  • Validate data and narratives for the Sustainability Report.
  • Reconcile operational data (AMOS, SAP) with financial records and verify accuracy of KPIs and text disclosures.
  • Support external assurance process.
  • Prepare documentation packages for auditors, coordinate information requests and address observations promptly.
  • Drive process improvements and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify data flows, enhance template standardization and develop dashboards in Workiva or Power BI.
Candidate Profile
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering.
  • Certifications related to sustainability, ESG reporting, or non-financial disclosure frameworks, such as FSA Credential, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, GHG Protocol courses or COSO (highly desirable but not mandatory).
  • Experience: +7 years in sustainability, ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, governance, or impact-driven initiatives.
  • Experience working with international sustainability frameworks and compliance standards.
