A leading manufacturer of electronic components is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of molding machinery, overseeing maintenance activities, and leading a team while ensuring compliance with IATF standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, at least 2 years of leadership experience, and strong technical knowledge in maintenance. This role promotes a culture of growth and collaboration.

Formación

Reporting to the Operations and Molding Manager, you as a Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and reliability of molding machinery and equipment. You will oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, while also developing budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and improvement projects that extend equipment life and enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with IATF standards and supporting audits from customers and quality teams.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities in the molding area.

  • Develop, evaluate, and implement cost reduction projects and process improvements.

  • Control operating and capital expenditures, ensuring compliance with approved budgets.

  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance systems for molding machinery and equipment.

  • Lead projects to extend the useful life of machines and equipment.

  • Track and report maintenance KPIs (OEE, downtime, MTTR, MTBF, cost per hour).

  • Lead the selection, purchase, and implementation of new molding equipment.

  • Evaluate and apply new technologies to support process development.

  • Ensure compliance with IATF standards, leading audits with quality teams and customers.

  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

  • Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuilas, On-site / Presential.

About You
  • University degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance leadership, supervising teams, and managing multiple activities.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as PLC troubleshooting.

  • Experience with injection molding equipment and interpretation of technical drawings.

  • Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to lead continuous improvement projects.

  • Solid communication and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
