This role requires leading the opening, managing approximately 30 employees, and overseeing production, engineering, quality, HR, and finance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and be fluent in English and Spanish. The position offers a competitive salary range of $55K–$75K USD plus performance-based bonuses.

Essex Brownell is a global distributor of electrical and industrial products, including magnet wire, motors, drives, insulation, and repair equipment. With over 35 years of experience and distribution centers across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, we support manufacturing operations through reliable supply chain solutions.

As part of our continued growth, we are launching a new facility in Mexico and seeking a General Manager to lead its opening, staffing, and integration of approximately 30 employees. This role will oversee key departments—production, engineering, quality, HR, and finance—while driving operational excellence in safety, delivery, cost, lean practices, and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will also support product launches and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Activities

  • Drive culture change toward continuous improvement while prioritizing safety and compliance.
  • Control labor costs and eliminate the need for rush shipments.
  • Minimize waste through effective metrics and root cause analysis.
  • Foster a unified and effective management team.

Salary Range: $55,000–$75,000 USD, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses. This includes:

  • Short-Term Incentive Bonus: Up to 25% annually, based on individual and business performance.
  • Long-Term Incentive Bonus: Up to 15% annually, paid after the completion of a 3-year performance period.
