Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused IT Functional Design Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of digital capabilities across our R&D and enterprise platforms. This role will serve as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s transformation roadmap and operational excellence goals for R&D. R&D is currently on a journey to transform the way they manage supplier information for material management as part of our Product Lifecycle Management transformation. The initiative will partner with a SaaS vendor to design and configure their platform to suit the business needs for Material Qualification.

Your Impact

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that support business transformation initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee solution delivery with SaaS Vendor.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of digital capabilities.
• Manage technical teams and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Support change management and user adoption strategies in partnership with OCM and PMO teams.
• Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Solution delivery, preferably in a global enterprise setting.
• Proven ability to lead design and development of digital capabilities across complex ecosystems.
• Background working with SaaS solutions and vendors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies, solution architecture, and vendor management.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with R&D, supply chain, or commercial business processes.
• Experience in managing matrixed teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of digital product lifecycle, smart automation, and data integration strategies.
