What are we looking for?

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Must reside in LATAM.

• 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience (or equivalent skill).
• Solid experience building and deploying modern web apps end‑to‑end.
• Comfortable with CI / CD, testing, and basic observability.
• Experience deploying to Vercel or Netlify.
• Experience with content modeling in Headless CMS (Sanity.io or similar).
• Experience building custom themes, apps, and extensions in the Shopify ecosystem.
• Strong communication skills — clear, thoughtful, and proactive.
• Thrives in a remote, async-friendly environment.
• Polyglot mindset: excellent with Node / TS and comfortable switching languages when needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Mobile: Expo or React Native.
• Web animation: Framer Motion, GSAP, or advanced CSS.
• Experience with Supabase and Clerk.
• Interest in performance tuning, edge functions, and SSR / ISR trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Build modern web apps from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with designers and strategists to prototype, refine, and ship user‑centric experiences.
• Develop performant, scalable front‑ends with React and Next.js.
• Develop Shopify themes, apps, and extensions.
• Build backends using Supabase and Sanity, or similar technologies.
• Deploy and operate on Netlify, making use of edge / runtime features where applicable.
• Optimize for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and maintainability (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and shared engineering processes.
