Una empresa de telecomunicaciones busca un Ingeniero de Campo en Monterrey, Baja California. El candidato ideal debe tener más de 5 años de experiencia en redes de telecomunicaciones y conocimientos en infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones. Formación

Compensation:

[Starting / Initial] Base Salary Pay Range: 600,000 - 785.000 MXN

Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fiber optics network field activity, long haul and metro, transport and routers
• Implementation of long haul and metro network augmentation, coordination and installation
• Turn‑up and test new customer connections and circuits
• Work with Network Planning and Service Delivery teams to provide field perspective to network deployment as well as to provide expertise in deployments
• Organize projects with contractors and internal staff
• Traveling within Mexico is required as well as full‑time availability

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of network architectures and telecom infrastructure including fiber networks
• 5+ years’ experience on telecommunication networks
• Working knowledge of telecom infrastructure
• Field experience with install and turn‑up DWDM and IP networks
• Experience in the use of optical test equipment: power meters, OTDRs, OSAs, and interpretation of test results
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• High‑energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion
• Engineer/Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field, or incomplete degree, equivalent experience, certifications, or training
