A leading HVAC manufacturer in Mexico is seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor to guide and implement Safety, Health, and Environmental programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EHS management, regulatory compliance, and team coordination to ensure a safe working environment. Strong fluency in English and relevant educational background is essential. This role involves oversight of legal compliance, management of EHS indicators, and leadership in emergency response initiatives.

Formación

• Degree in Environmental Technology, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• Fluent in English required.
• Advanced knowledge in EHS procedures and management.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Execute EHS awareness campaigns.

Description

We are actively looking for an EHS Supervisor who will support and guide in Safety, Health and Environmental aspects. Developing, implementing and maintaining EHS programs and policies, ensuring compliance with national regulations as well as stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications

• Environmental Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Fluent in English language
• Advanced Knowleadge in:
  • Management of EHS procedures
  • Group management, safety commissions, sustainabilitu committees
  • Implementation of management systems
  • Troubleshooting
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Internal auditor
• Decision making in the implementation and management of EHS policies
• Knowleage in ISO-9001 and IATF desirable

Activities

• Compliance with and monitoring of legal requirements in Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Coordination and execution of EHS awareness campaigns.
• Supervision of unsafe acts and conditions, including the closure of findings.
• Management of EHS indicators and reports.
• Coordination of emergency response teams, drills, and emergency response.
• Participation in projects involving new production lines, facilities, and process changes.
• Administration and control of the EHS-related budget.
• Verification of compliance with applicable standards (e.g., NOM-002, NOM-019).
• Follow-up on incidents and accidents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
