Position: Digital Transformation Leader

Position Level: Individual Contributor – This role does not include direct people management but requires strong leadership in driving projects and influencing cross‑functional teams.

About the Role

As a Digital Transformation Leader, you will drive the digitalization of one or more manufacturing sites, actively participating in the plant staff. Your mission is to optimize operational processes through technology, integrate systems, and foster a digital culture that delivers measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the site’s digital roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies to enable smart manufacturing.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between local operations and global DT/IT teams.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and global standards.
  • Promote digital adoption through cultural change and training initiatives.
  • Monitor performance, tracking progress and reporting to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Experience
  • 3–5+ years in similar roles (Digital Transformation Lead, IT Site Manager, Manufacturing Technology Leader), preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of digital manufacturing technologies (IoT, automation, analytics).
  • Integration of systems: ERP, MES, QMS, PLM.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT) and IIoT integration frameworks.
  • Program/project management and IT governance experience.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Data analysis and KPI tracking tools.
  • Leadership and influence to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Strategic thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with finance, supply chain, and operations processes.
  • Ability to document savings and justify technology investments.
