A leading technology company located in Nuevo León, Apodaca is seeking a Design Engineer to draft and design electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Creo Parametric and PLM Windchill, alongside a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles. Responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D models, leading design reviews, and improving design processes. This role requires excellent organization and communication skills.

Formación

• Experience with Creo Parametric or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsabilidades

• Draft electrical harness and mechanical designs.
• Conduct Agile Design Reviews and audits.
• Verify design with simulation tools.

What you will do?

• Drafting/Design of electrical harness, models, routing, schematics
• Drafting/Design of mechanical parts, piping, sheet metal, assemblies
• Read and interpret BOMs
• 2D Engineering drawings interpretation and creation
• Design of electrical harness 3D models and routing
• Design of electrical harness schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram
• Design of mechanical 3D models, piping, sheet metal, assemblies
• Lead Product Agile Design Reviews, Audits and DFMEA
• Interact with Contract and Product Engineering to understand system interactions and constraints, provide guidance and feedback
• Develop root cause analysis, document and solve design issues
• Develop and improve design guidelines and processes
• Verify design with simulation tools
