A leading distribution firm in Mexico is seeking a Dealer Development Manager to grow revenue and profitability by managing strategic dealerships and educating them on product solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the loading dock industry, preferably in technical sales, along with excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships. Responsibilities include managing existing dealerships, training new accounts, and conducting sales activities. This role is pivotal in driving growth and enhancing customer service through effective partnering.

Dealer Development Manager, MexicoYour role as Dealer Development Manager is to grow revenue and profitability, providing sophisticated product solutions to our end user clients through our distribution network.

Managing, educating our strategic dealerships to achieve sales goals and objectives will be a key focus.

Working closely with our VP, Sales, and internal support departments to both support our strategic accounts / dealerships and provide opportunities for profitable growth.

The role will require in-market support for our existing distributors, supplemented with the prospecting and onboarding of new strategic accounts within your territory.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong relationship with key strategic dealership branches / sales organizations within your territory.Responsible for managing our existing master dealer in Mexico (Merik), who has several offices in Mexico and manages dealers.Direct contact with these dealers and assist Merik in management activities.Train and educate both new and prospective accounts to upsell our product portfolio.Target new distribution, onboard and develop into long-term relationships.Set goals and objectives for each strategic branch and manage activities accordingly.Conduct QBRs identifying areas for mutual growth and executing a business plan.Liaise with internal departments to provide a universal sales growth program.Conduct joint in-field sales calls with branches / sales staff.Manage all sales activities within Salesforce.Partner with Inside Sales support to create a professional, responsive, customer-service focused approach to managing your dealer network.Work hand in hand with your distributors to promote / upsell more sophisticated products to our end-user clients.

Focus products consist of hydraulic docks, air-bag docks, vertical docks, vehicle restraints, dock lifts, shelters.

Qualifications5+ years experience in the loading dock industry focusing on technical sales preferred.Degree, diploma in business administration, sales, marketing, or a relevant field.Goal oriented, team player.Self-motivated, self-directed.Excellent interpersonal skills with aptitude to build relationships.Ability to lead, train and educate sales organizations.
