The Position

We are seeking a Data Analytics Business Partner to join our LATAM Omnichannel Customer Engagement team. This position is a cornerstone of our digital transformation, acting as a Strategic Translator between advanced analytics and business leadership. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, converting complex data into narratives that drive personalized customer experiences, optimize Therapeutic Area (TA) performance, and deliver a measurable impact on P&L and Market Share across the region.

This role demands a unique blend of technical mastery in data science and high-level strategic consulting. You will not only lead cross-functional projects from conception to delivery but also architect scalable, cloud-agnostic data solutions that respond to urgent business questions in real-time. The ideal candidate possesses a "Challenger Mindset" to influence senior leadership and the business acumen to ensure that every analytical initiative improves outcomes for patients and healthcare systems throughout Latin America.

Your Opportunity

The responsibilities for this role include:

You will be responsible for developing and deploying descriptive and predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics solutions that support commercial, medical, supply chain, and research initiatives across therapeutic areas. This includes:

  • Stakeholder Management & Strategic Partnership: Acting as a trusted advisor for business leaders, you will understand strategic priorities and translate them into data-driven initiatives with measurable impact. This requires a strong track record of influencing senior leadership and mobilizing cross-functional teams (Medical, Marketing, Commercial) to adopt data-driven changes and cultural shifts across multiple countries.

  • Strategic Bridge with BI & Market Intelligence: Partnering with Business Intelligence and Market Intelligence teams to model competitive scenarios, providing a proactive "outside-in" view of market dynamics and share of shelf, ensuring that the data foundation allows for real-time decisions and responds to urgent business questions.

  • End-to-End Data Architecture & Integration: Building end-to-end data pipelines and architectural solutions that respond to business needs, ensuring a seamless integration between multiple sources including pharmaceutical market data, medical prescriptions, health institution intelligence, sales systems, CRM (Face-to-Face) and Digital touchpoints to achieve a true 360° customer view. While leveraging Cloud Platform services, you will maintain a tool-agnostic mindset to ensure architectural agility.

  • Agile Project Leadership & Challenger Mindset: Leading end-to-end analytics projects by defining criteria to prioritize demand, facilitating agile sprints, and creating synergies across LATAM. You will apply a Challenger Mindset to eliminate low-value activities and stop initiatives that do not show performance results, advocating for "fail-fast" methodologies to optimize commercial resources

  • Culture & Governance: Driving a regional culture of experimentation and learning while ensuring alignment with Data Governance and Analytics Strategy. You will coordinate with Data Stewards and BI teams to standardize data quality, ensuring the ethical use of data while maintaining the agility needed for the LATAM market.

  • Business Reviews & Coaching: Supporting business reviews by sharing KPIs aligned to defined outcomes, recommending action plans, and coaching affiliate teams to build the skills and mindsets needed for a sustainable data-driven culture.

Who you are

The person in this role has the ability to influence senior leadership and mobilize cross-functional teams to adopt data-driven changes. Possess strategic thinking with ability to connect analytics initiatives to business objectives and understand the impact of insights on commercial, medical, and financial results, as well as the vision to enhance customer engagement through a data-driven culture, using creative strategic approaches to generate valuable customer insights and enable teams to act on them with measurable outcomes.

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific, digital, economics, business, engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related quantitative disciplines. Master’s degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Digital Business, Digital Transformation, or correlated areas represents significant differentiation.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Analytics Translation, Performance Analytics, and hands-on work with data and analytics platforms. You must demonstrate a proven track record of translating data into commercial strategy or operational improvements that directly impact P&L and Market Share.

  • Experience working in large biopharma or healthcare environments with deep understanding of digital, omnichannel, and data analytics capabilities applied to pharmaceutical commercial, medical, or patient engagement contexts is highly desired.

  • Advanced English proficiency is required.

  • Experience deploying analytics solutions including statistical models, machine learning, and practical knowledge of generative artificial intelligence applied to pharmaceutical or healthcare business use cases.

  • Expertise in Business Intelligence and visualization tools including Looker and Tableau with ability to design compelling dashboards and executive reports.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex query development and data manipulation. Strong programming skills in Python for data science including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.
