A luxury resort in Punta de Mita seeks a Culinary Experiences Chef responsible for enhancing culinary experiences throughout the property. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and lead initiatives such as menu development, culinary experiences, and kitchen operations. We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of culinary leadership experience, a passion for innovative dishes, and fluency in Spanish and English. Full-time flexibility is required, including weekends and holidays.

Formación

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef.
  • Minimum 3 culinary experiences in renowned established restaurants and/or catering companies.
  • Certificate or degree in Culinary Arts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of kitchen food safety.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and skill to create new dishes.
  • Planning and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Work with the Executive Chef in day-to-day operations.
  • Lead Culinary Experiences around the resort.
  • Assist with menu development and maintain recipes.
  • Vary and develop menu items based on seasonal offerings.
  • Determine purchasing specifications and budgets.
  • Order and receive products from vendors.
  • Coordinate training activities for kitchen and front-of-house team members.
