Job description

The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for driving financial transparency and supporting strategic decision-making within the Supply Chain. This role focuses on analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance, and contributing to cross-functional projects through insightful cost and budget assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and explain key variances in profit and loss statements and balance sheet accounts
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to evaluate the financial impact of ongoing and new initiatives
  • Maintain organized historical financial data to support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Identify and differentiate between recurring and non-recurring financial transactions
  • Support month-end closing activities, addressing and resolving related issues
  • Monitor and manage capital expenditures through internal order tracking
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or BSBA major in Accounting
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the following areas:
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Spare parts and capital expenditure tracking
  • Financial modeling, analysis, and advisory
  • Accruals, particularly for transportation and warehousing
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly preferred
  • Willing to be assigned in Bicutan (Parañaque) or Canlubang (Laguna)
