A leading manufacturer of electronic components located in Matamoros is seeking a Training and Development Specialist. This role involves implementing and monitoring training programs for personnel, coordinating talent review sessions, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience, with proficiency in English and knowledge of ISO standards. This is an on-site position.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you as a Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for performing tasks related to identifying training and development needs, implementing plans and programs to guide, train, and develop the company’s operational, administrative, and executive personnel.

You will implement and monitor training programs to ensure the continuous development of associates. You will coordinate talent review sessions, support organizational development processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will also provide support regarding labor issues and coordinate compliance training aligned with ISO and STPS standards.

You will train and manage daily work activities and may be responsible for the team’s performance. You will identify areas for development and recommend ways to improve processes. You will lead any changes that affect team processes. You will assist the team with complex or difficult issues, acting as a point of escalation. You will train team members and provide input for performance reviews.

About the Job:
  • Implement, develop, and monitor training and development plans for operational, administrative, and executive associates.

  • Develop and update instructions, procedures, and formats aligned with global company policies.

  • Monitor individual development plans based on Littelfuse’s Competency Model.

  • Coordinate talent review sessions to determine succession plans for key positions (9Box).

  • Provide support to unionized and non-unionized associates on labor-related issues, disciplinary actions, and company policies.

  • Coordinate and conduct training programs to comply with STPS and ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, and IATF requirements.

  • Location: Matamoros, Tamaulipas, On-site / Presential.

About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of training methods, organizational development, and audit management.

  • Experience with ISO 14001, 45001, 9001, IATF, and governmental standards (STPS).

  • Basic knowledge of Safety and Hygiene and labor relations.

  • Conversational English proficiency (90%).

  • Strong collaboration, results orientation, and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to develop internal talent and manage interpersonal relationships effectively.
