Responsibilities
Opportunity

This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the contracts team supporting the Brazil business units, ensuring full alignment with the approved Service Level Agreement (SLA) and proper application of the LATAM Contracts Policy. The position leads a team of two contract attorneys based in Brazil and works closely with local legal teams, business partners, and the broader GLS organization.

Your Impact

As Contract Manager – LATAM Contract Hub your scope would consist of:

  • Lead the contracts team, ensuring adherence to the approved SLA and correct application of the LATAM contracts policy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local legal teams and business partners, facilitating effective contract support.
  • Build technical expertise and contribute to consistent contract processes across the supported markets.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for templates, playbooks, processes, and digital contracting tools.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
  • Provide support for contracting and training needs across all contract categories defined in the LATAM policy.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable PepsiCo policies and specific business unit requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal functions to identify opportunities for improvement in contract request, review, and signature workflows.
  • Actively participate in regional legal initiatives related to standardization and digital transformation.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with the GLS Director and other key stakeholders through regular reporting on contract status and SLA performance.
  • Provide temporary coverage for LATAM Contract Hub members during vacations, leaves, absences, or peak workload periods to ensure uninterrupted operations and SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with other GLS projects and processes.
Qualifications
  • Licensed attorney with strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters.
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in legal contracts.
  • Proven experience leading legal or shared‑services teams.
  • Advanced Portuguese, English and Spanish required.
  • Strong analytical mindset, process orientation, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of contracting/transactional principles as well as English‑language contract drafting; knowledge of US contracting a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail; ability to handle tight timelines and to balance priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive process and continuous improvement orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as successfully co‑exist within a team; willingness to learn about PepsiCo’s businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive and effective working relationships with functional teams and business partners while assisting through process.
