A leading industrial solutions provider based in Tepic, Mexico, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to implement and manage continuous improvement projects utilizing lean management methods. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration and have 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in coordinating improvements and training. This full-time position involves ensuring compliance with standards and conducting workshops for optimization.

Formación

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in coordination roles / implementation of improvements.
  • Experience as trainer / instructor of continuous improvement topics.
  • Management of employee suggestions required.

Objective of Job

Implement a continuous improvement process (KVP) and optimization of processes and procedures based on lean management methods and principles as well as the DRÄXLMAIER production system (DPS).

Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement continuous improvement projects or release other projects together with the in-plant functions.
  • Identify and analyze improvement potential during the entire product lifecycle as well as implement relevant measures in the plant.
  • Implement action measures, responsibilities, and schedules to realize potential capabilities (e.g. to the topic DPS) in cooperation with the central office and the plant.
  • Assure implementation of agreed actions in cooperation with the involved parties.
  • Develop and implement standardized and innovative tools and methods for the application in the plants.
  • Ensure an in-plant rollout through training of innovative tools and methods for use.
  • Introduce standards in the plants and review compliance with them in cooperation with managers.
  • Ensure the continuous optimization of standards and processes by identifying potential for improvement in the plant.
  • Independent planning and conducting of workshops for various plant functions (e.g. production logistics etc.) to identify potential for improvement (e.g. with regard to production minutes areas material stocks etc.)
  • Compile workshop results and create corresponding reports for supervisors / management / central office.
  • Manage and control specialist committees within the plant.
  • Direct and support associates to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality environmental occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) management systems.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience in coordination roles / implementation of improvements: 2 - 3 years.
  • Experience as trainer / instructor of continuous improvement topics: 2 - 3 years.
  • Management of employee suggestions.
  • Experience in roles that promote the improvement of processes: 2 - 3 years.
  • English Intermediate Level.
