Lead Media Planner and Buyer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced media professional to lead our media planning and buying efforts in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing impactful media plans, overseeing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and media partners, and working closely with the business to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute cost‑effective media plans that align with regional business and marketing strategies.
  • Manage and execute media projects independently, analyzing marketing briefs and formulating effective media plans.
  • Oversee and analyze campaign performance, presenting insightful reports on both business and media level results.
  • Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders for media plan execution.
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and partners.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably in a media agency or client‑side environment.
  • The ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in media analytics and planning tools, including data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Advanced understanding of various online and offline media channels, including formats, best practices, and optimization opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience in building clear and concise presentations to deliver key insights.
  • Familiarity with advertising trends and innovations, with the ability to provide recommendations and identify relevant innovations for testing.
  • Proficiency in tracking and optimizing campaign performance, with knowledge of core and proxy KPIs for each channel and media.
  • Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to take initiative and propose solutions.
  • Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
