The Business Solutions Manager is responsible for coordinating and generating a commercial relationship, which allows negotiations to increase the money transfer volume and profitability for Viamericas. The functions of the Business Solutions Manager correspond to the area, region or district assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Know and be familiar with the money transfer industry.
  • Analyze the competition, market products and services.
  • Needs to be a strong communicator with good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ensure that the Business Solutions Representatives comply with price changes.
  • Help agents drive sales, increase profits, meet productivity standards, and remain competitive.
  • Frequently communicate and solve problems.
  • Profitability analysis of new and existing agents.
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results from the Business Solutions group, developing the team through motivation or advice.
  • Manage the Business Solutions team, developing a business plan that covers sales, income, and meets the agreed objectives.
  • Ensure all activities of the Business Solutions Representatives are in agreement and help achieve the company's objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of the Business Solutions team by establishing a reporting and communications system that involves sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales bulletins and electronic bulletins.
  • Personally observe the performance of the Business Solutions team.
  • Identify sales support opportunities to streamline the entire sales process along with the results of measurement activities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the Inside Sales team, field team, and various departments as needed.
  • Execute and manage a productive relationship with the agents.
  • Provide sales, marketing and customer service support.
  • Develop standard presentations, sales support materials, and case studies.
  • Coordinate and supervise the team's daily sales efforts.
  • Assist the Senior Manager and Vice President of Sales in preparing proposals and presentations.
  • Train and educate team members on sales techniques.
  • Set examples for other staff in areas of personal character, commitment, and work habits.
  • Reduce contraction by administering loss prevention techniques.
  • Lead and motivate the Business Solutions team.
  • Obtain an in-depth knowledge of the needs of each client to offer them the best solution.
  • Preside over weekly staff meetings.
  • Real‑time telephone monitoring of staff.
  • Maintain staff attendance and punctuality reports.
  • Quickly handle customer complaints.
  • Creation of new internal sales.
  • Monitoring and response to changing service level requirements.
  • Attend all company departmental and general meetings.
  • Recruitment of internal sales, when necessary.
  • Address individual and group coaching needs.
Information Security Responsibilities
  • Ensure you and your team read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas’ Staff Information Security Policy.
  • Ensure you and your team attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas.
  • Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident (clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Must possess basic and some advanced computer skills (Excel, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, or other presentation formats) to complete business reviews for customers.
  • Basic math skills to explain percentages, margins, and other information that is important to the account.
