Job Title: Business Development & Marketing Coordinator (Email, Direct Mail, Digital)

Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Execution
- Build and manage a monthly marketing calendar (email + direct mail + digital)
- Execute email marketing campaigns: list segmentation, content drafts, A/B testing, deliverability hygiene, reporting.
- Execute postcard / direct mail campaigns: targeting lists, creative coordination, print/mail vendor management, response tracking.
- Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify and build prospect lists (property management, GCs, developers, facility managers, retail, multi-family, affordable housing partners, etc.)
- Run outbound sequences (email + phone follow-up + light LinkedIn outreach as needed) and schedule discovery calls / site walks for leadership / PMs.
- Maintain a simple pipeline and follow-up cadence so leads don't fall through the cracks.
- Digital & Website Coordination
- Coordinate improvements to the website with the current provider (updates, landing pages, service pages, conversion forms).
- Manage online presence basics: Google Business Profile updates, review-generation workflows, directory listings consistency.
- Systems, Data, and Reporting
- Own CRM / contact database integrity (tags, segments, opt‑in status, notes, next steps).
- Track channel ROI (cost per lead, lead‑to‑estimate, estimate‑to‑win, revenue by channel).
- Produce concise weekly dashboard for Owner / President: activity, pipeline, wins, lessons learned, next week plan.
- Brand & Collateral
- Coordinate collateral needed for outreach: capability statement, service one‑pagers, project sheets, email templates, and direct mail creative.
- Ensure messaging is consistent with Gills' positioning and target customers.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Clean, segmented contact database and compliant email infrastructure.
- 2–4 outbound campaigns / month running reliably (email + postcard + digital).
- Documented process for lead intake / follow-up / handoff to estimating / PM.
- A measurable pipeline with clear attribution (you can show what's working).
Qualifications
- 2+ years in marketing coordination, BD support, or lead‑gen (construction / trades / services strongly preferred).
- Experience running email marketing campaigns and working with a CRM / contact database.
- Strong project management: can juggle vendors, deadlines, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent writing and communication skills (short, clear, professional outreach).
Preferred
- Experience marketing for contractors (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, GC, facilities).
- Direct mail campaign experience and vendor coordination.
- Basic understanding of SEO / local search and conversion‑focused websites.
- Familiarity with compliance basics (opt‑outs, consent, list hygiene).
