Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on and adaptable HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our warehouse operations in Flowery Branch, Georgia. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both leadership and frontline employees, driving HR initiatives that support operational goals and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has strong generalist experience, thrives in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, and is comfortable supporting multiple shifts (day, swing, or night) as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a key HR contact for warehouse leadership, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, staffing, and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with operations leaders to align workforce planning, staffing, and retention strategies with business goals.
- Support a positive and productive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement programs.
Employee Relations & HR Compliance
- Advise managers on employee relations matters and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions as needed.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including recordkeeping, attendance, and training documentation.
HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain accuracy in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or similar), including onboarding, data changes, and terminations.
- Partner with payroll and timekeeping teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions.
Talent & Performance
- Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers and assisting with interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientations.
- Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and absenteeism to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Facilitate performance evaluations, development planning, and succession readiness discussions.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and professional development.
- Participate in safety meetings, employee recognition programs, and site-level engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional HR and corporate teams on cross‑site HR projects and process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of Human Resources experience or related HR support role.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Flexibility to support various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnights.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
