Mission: We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with solid knowledge of programming logic, databases, and error handling to join as a nighttime technical support team (Monday to Friday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.). They will be responsible for monitoring systems, addressing basic incidents, escalating issues, and following up on operational tickets in a timely and organized manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring backend services and APIs during nighttime hours.
• Identifying, documenting, and escalating errors or technical incidents.
• Executing scripts or performing data validations under defined protocols.
• Supporting the development team with corrective or preventive maintenance tasks.
• Recording findings and participating in technical feedback meetings (asynchronous).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Node.js, Python, or another modern backend language.
• Basic database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Git, and collaborative development environments.
• Good log reading skills, basic debugging, and error analysis.
• Ability to clearly document and communicate issues.
• Real-time availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (evening hours).

Desirable

• Previous experience in technical support or system monitoring roles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), HTTP error handling, or log structures.
• Proactive ability to identify patterns or repetitive issues and suggest improvements.
• Basic knowledge of automation or scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
