Associate Software Implementation Consultant

Overview: At Appian, we value intensity and excellence. This role focuses on building and deploying web-based applications on the Appian platform to support customers’ business strategies, from initial deployment to scaling across the enterprise. You will work with a passionate team to bring our low-code platform to life and deliver mission-critical business impact for customers.

Location note: Role may be based in the Mexico City office in Coyoacán. In-person collaboration is a key part of our culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy web-based applications on the Appian platform to support customers’ business strategies.
• Implement initial BPM applications and scale the program across the enterprise.
• Analyze a client’s business strategy and processes to develop technical solutions that support their goals.
• Apply design thinking for prototypes and modeling business processes.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or equivalent background.
• English language proficiency (bilingual or business proficiency).
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20% to support customer engagements).

Skills and Experience

• Experience with process improvement disciplines including business process management, knowledge management, personalization, business intelligence, and application integration.
• Ability to design, implement, and deploy process-centric BPM solutions based on Appian software.
• Analytical skills to assess client business strategies and processes and develop technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills; comfortable working in a team-focused environment.
• Strong foundation in technology; preferred experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud technologies.
