A leading energy management company is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and strong expertise in S/4HANA projects. Responsibilities include designing and supporting ABAP solutions, implementing custom developments, and enhancing OData services for SAP Fiori applications. We’re looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP projects, including S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or support engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP development, deep knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, and working knowledge of SAP Fiori and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support ABAP‑based solutions in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
• Implement custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEF)
• Develop and optimize ABAP on HANA objects, including performance tuning and code remediation
• Adapt legacy ABAP code to S/4HANA compliance (SPAU/SPDD, simplification items, CVI, etc.)
• Develop and enhanceرفت OData services for SAP Fiori applications
• Collaborate with functional consultantsatuur to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including backend ABAP integration
• Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, and issue resolution across SAP modules
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation
• Follow SAP best practices and coding standards throughout the development lifetime
• Implement ABAP solutions for real‑time replication processes
• Develop custom programs for data extraction and transformation for master‑data harmonisation in Central Finance (CFIN)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong experience in S/4HANA projects (implementation, migration, or support)
• Expertise in:
  • ABAP Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs
  • ALV, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts
  • BDC, LSMW, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs

• Open SQL enhancements
• Experience with SAP Fiori:
  • OData services
  • Fiori app extension and customization
  • Basic knowledge of SAP UI5 (plus)
• Experience with integration scenarios (SAP to non‑SAP systems)
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
• Central Finance (CFIN) experience – 3+ years technical with S/4H_RENDER Finance projects
• Debugging across multiple interconnected SAP systems (CFIN/Source) including update function modules and background processes
• Experience with Landscape Transformation Replication (SLT) – monitoring and supporting initial load
• Experience with Application Interface Framework (AIF) – configuration and technical administration for error handling
