AI-Enhanced Full Stack Developer (C# / Blazor)

Purpose:

Intermediate to advanced full-stack developer who leverages AI coding assistants to rapidly build, test, and maintain modern web applications using C# and Blazor. You'll work efficiently with AI tools to deliver high-quality features while following best practices.

Responsibilities

• AI-Assisted Development: Utilize AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate feature development, generate test cases, and improve code quality.
• Full-Stack Application Development: Build complete web applications using C# and Blazor (Server/WebAssembly), from UI components to backend APIs.
• Intelligent Code Generation: Work with AI tools to generate boilerplate code, create data models, and scaffold application components.
• AI-Enhanced Testing: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies using AI to generate unit tests, integration tests, and edge case scenarios.
• Feature Implementation: Translate business requirements into working features, using AI assistance to explore implementation patterns and best practices.
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable code with AI-assisted refactoring, documentation generation, and technical debt reduction.
• Debugging & Problem-Solving: Leverage AI tools for rapid debugging, error diagnosis, and solution exploration.
• Collaboration: Work with product teams to define features, provide accurate estimates, and integrate work across teams.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with AI coding tools and methodologies to maximize development velocity.
• Participate in daily standups and maintain clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

Professional Experience:

• Previous experience as an independent contractor and/or in remote work roles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meeting established deadlines.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates high commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguous situations.
• Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
• Effectively communicating via Google Suite, Slack, and video calls.

Technical Skills - Core Stack:

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+).
• Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly experience required).
• Database design and development (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Docker containerization basics.
• Understanding of security best practices and scalability principles.

AI & Modern Development Skills:

• Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, or similar).
• Ability to write effective prompts to generate high-quality code and tests.
• AI-assisted testing - generating and validating test cases with AI tools.
• Comfort with rapid prototyping using AI code generation.
• Experience reviewing and refining AI-generated code for quality and security.
• Understanding of AI limitations and when human expertise is essential.

Development Practices:

• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean code practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Code review participation and constructive feedback.

Operational/Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, MudBlazor).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SignalR for real-time features.
• Experience with state management patterns in Blazor.
