Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Accounts Payable Operations Manager (located in Mexico City) and provides support in functions related to Accounts Payable.

This role is responsible for Expense Report Processing and related tasks, including acting as the company's Pcard Administrator.

Expected Responsibilities
  • Daily Review and Posting of Expense Reports from Concur to FFA (general ledger)
  • Weekly preparation & distribution of Unsubmitted Expense Report list, including following up with employees to submit expense reports timely
  • Pcard Administrator—Issue / close Pcards, increase / decrease credit limits, reset pins, perform quarterly Pcard user reviews
  • Reply to and resolve customer cases assigned in the AP Case Management system
  • Collaborate with team members to help with overflow and cover absences
  • Adapt to and embrace process improvements
  • AdHoc Tasks / Projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently; comfortable speaking English with management and vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, from an accredited college
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and inter‑personal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management inside and outside the organization
  • Responsive, motivated self‑starter who takes initiative and ownership of assigned tasks, driving to completion
  • Skilled in Excel (Pivots & formulas) and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Concur and/or Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with bank websites a plus
  • Attention to detail, planning, patience, and the ability to work with users to ensure compliance with company policy
