Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.
Based in Milan or Mogliano Veneto (TV), within the Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention, department of GC&C Italy - Underwriting.
You will perform risk assessments to identify, analyze and evaluate risks, as well as share best practices for improvement, with the goal of enhancing awareness, risk quality and underwriting profitability.
You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets.
Main tasks:
* Perform on-site surveys and desk activities primarily for the Casualty Line of Business: General Liability, Employer's Liability, Products Liability, Recall, Tampering, for domestic and multinational Clients, with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Issue and check reports with the results of risk assessments and proposed mitigation measures, to support the risk management process and help businesses succeed
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* University degree in an engineering or economic discipline
* 5 years of previous experience in casualty as a Risk Engineer, Underwriter, Claims Handler or Loss Adjuster
* Ability to work in a team and in an international context
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Analytical mindset, good communication and planning skills
* B driving license and availability to frequent business trips
