Workplace: TOPCON Facility Centre in Italy – Concordia sulla Secchia (MO)

Possible smart working activity (home office) for 2 days per week

• Software quality engineer for testing web applications and services
• Developing automated tests using Python and Playwright
• Analysis of test results
• Tight cooperation with developers and PM (requirements clarification, use cases)

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including documenting test cases with test steps, expected results, and actual results
• Analyze test results and report defects and bugs using a bug tracking tool, including detailed steps to reproduce the issue
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing, including load and stress testing
• Provide feedback on software quality and make recommendations for improvements, including identifying and tracking software defects and issues
• Inspect WEB browser console messages to understand and detect potential errors, follow network activity to understand if issues are on frontend or backend
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user stories, and use cases, and provide feedback on the feasibility of the requirements
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools like Playwright
• Maintain test data and test environments to support testing activities
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code meets quality standards for automated tests
• Participate actively to create an inspiring team environment with open communication culture

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation
• Technical skills - automation testing and knowledge of testing tools: Jira, TestRail; Programming: Python, TypeScript, JS, HTML
• General skills – Attention to detail, problem solving, analytical thinking, communication, and adaptability
