Remote Global Commodity Leader
Job summary
A leading consulting firm is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to oversee strategic management of commodities for a global manufacturer of industrial appliances. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement and sourcing, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and a proven record of driving cost savings. This fully remote position requires strong communication skills and the ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies effectively.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Management, Materials Management, or Purchasing.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
- Fluent in English and a second language.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
- Evaluate suppliers and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct research on market dynamics and cost drivers.
