Devops Engineer
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work remotely in Italy. The ideal candidate will manage cloud infrastructures using Terraform and IaC, automate processes with Ansible, and ensure best practices in security and scalability. Strong experience with Windows environments is essential. This full-time role offers an ASAP start and potential for extension until March 2026.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Solid experience with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
- Strong experience with Windows environments (servers, services, automation).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructures using Terraform and IaC methodologies.
- Automate configuration and deployment processes with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
- Support migration, optimization, and management of resources in Windows environments.
Skills
RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is searching for an DevOps Engineer to support the development of a Proof of Concept. The ideal candidate has solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and provisioning, with a particular focus on Windows environments.
Please find the details below; Role : Devops Engineer Start : ASAP Duration : March 2026 + extensions Location : Remote – Italy Capacity : Full time Language : Italian
- Design, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructures using Terraform and IaC methodologies.
- Automate configuration and deployment processes with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
- Support migration, optimization, and management of resources in Windows environments.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to define and implement the Proof of Concept.
- Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and resilience in the infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Solid experience with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
- Strong experience with Windows environments (servers, services, automation).
- Knowledge of main DevOps tools (CI / CD, versioning with Git).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is appreciated but not strictly necessary.
- Ability to work independently on short-term projects (PoC).
- Problem-solving skills and strong results orientation.
- Excellent communication skills and a predisposition for teamwork.
