We are looking for

A driven and enthusiastic Backend Engineer (m / w / d) eager to contribute to our Tech Team's growth and success.

Your role at BizAway

You will work within a cross-functional team to develop new features, enhance our platform to support ongoing growth, and collaborate with colleagues to turn ideas into concrete solutions.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of backend development experience, with strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB
• Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger)
• Proficiency with one of the following Node.js frameworks: Fastify, Express, Nest.js
• Experience in writing automated tests
• Understanding of AWS cloud services
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additional preferred skills

• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design
