For our IT Development department at the Merzig site, we are looking for full-time support (40 hours per week) at the earliest possible date for a

The tasks

• You will analyze requirements and develop concepts for IT support of processes in the areas of purchasing, production, warehouse management, order picking and shipping.
• You will implement concepts by adding new applications to the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP system or adapting existing ones.
• You develop interfaces to other IT systems.
• You work closely with the specialist departments to understand and implement their requirements
• You ensure the quality and reliability of our solutions through testing and optimization

The profile

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in software development for ERP systems
• Experience with data modeling
• Several years of experience with programming - preferably in C# or C++
• Analytical and conceptual skills combined with a structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Very good knowledge of German, at least C1 level
• Good written and spoken English skills
