A multinational EPC company in Italy is looking for an experienced Warranty Project Manager to manage multiple projects during the Warranty Period. You will oversee project transitions, resolve warranty issues, and maintain customer relationships. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of Project Management experience, an engineering background, and proficiency in both Italian and English. Description

Manage multiple projects under Warranty Period where you will be the main point of contact for the customer, internal and external stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact

Project Transition and Management: Ensure and oversee the smooth transition of projects from execution to warranty phase, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and pending items are identified and managed.

Issue Resolution: Organize and resolve outstanding items, identify new issues during warranty phase, and develop action plans. Ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Customer Relations: Act as key contact for customers, troubleshoot warranty issues, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships providing timely updates and solutions.

Leadership and Coordination: Investigate faults, coordinate site activities, and resolve quality issues with engineering teams and suppliers. Lead project team, allocate tasks, and motivate internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks. Ensure consistent reporting through project reviews with management team.

Lessons Learned and Project Closure: Capture and share lessons learned, ensure contract close‑out and drive formal final acceptance as contractually agreed.

Contract and Claims Management: Ensure consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to enforce supplier warranties and mitigate cost impacts.

Additional Opportunity in Project Management: According to planned workload and in addition to the main activity as Warranty Project Manager, there is the opportunity to lead small / medium‑sized projects as Project Manager during the Execution Phase.

Your background

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in an engineering field;

Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management of medium size Projects during Warranty Period within multinational EPC environments, with proven experience working on construction sites; Previous experience in Electrical System industry (T&D or Power Generation) and familiarity with Italian utilities (Terna / Enel / Edison) is a plus; Experience managing projects under different contractual models both in Italian public and private sector (i.e. FIDIC, Codice dei Contratti Pubblici).

Fluent in English; mother tongue Italian.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and Microsoft Project.

Proactive and highly organized, with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Willingness to travel nationally & internationally, as needed (average 25%).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
