A leading transportation solutions provider in Savigliano is seeking a Train Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering deliverables. The role involves managing a multi-metier team, ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery of projects, and requires strong knowledge of railway electrical systems. Candidates must have at least 5 years of team management experience and be fluent in English.

Competenze

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical CAD is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrialization and manufacturing of harnesses.

Mansioni

Job Title & Purpose

Purpose of the Job

Within the project engineering team, you will be responsible of all electrical engineering deliverables and you will manage functionally the associated multi-metier team (Schematics & Apparatus and Mechanical routing)

Position in the Organisation

Hierarchical: Train Electrical metier leader

Functional: Project Engineering Manager PrEM

Network & Links

Engineering team: PrEM, Train System Engineer, Train Control Engineer, Train Design Engineer, Experts, PrRAMS, …

Project Manager, Sourcing, PrIM

Missions

  • Performance Measurement: On time Delivery: Adhesion to baseline on Electrical studies delivery
  • Adhesion rate to preferred part list

Responsibilities

  • Quality, Cost and Delivery of S&A and EHI deliverables as follow:
  • Tender Phase: Carryover analysis (electrical product) from previous projects; Budget and workload estimation; Contributor of Engineering planning; Responsible of Architecture definition: Equipment cubicle content, position, path ways, break zones…
  • Specification phase: Contributor on definition of scope of supply between Train and Sub-Systems; Responsible of ENG electrical deliverables until SGR.
  • Next phases: Interface between Project and Center of Excellence electrical, Responsible of baselining definition and inputs deliveries to CoE electrical, Responsible of Harness integration.

Operational management of S&A and EHI team allocated on the project

  • Ensure interfaces with Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, EMC expert, Industrialization Electrical…
  • Managing internal and external activities (workload, planning, work package reviews, risks…)
  • Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews
  • Ensuring Baselining contents for his scope
  • Ensure follow-up with PrEM
  • Supporting continuous improvement of the domain with the Metier

Job Specifications

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Railways Electrical engineering knowledge
  • Strong approach (hands-on experience is a plus) in electrical CAD (See One / Catia EHI)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management
  • Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledges
  • Spoken and written English is mandatory
