We are looking for a TEST INDUSTRIALIZATION ENGINEER involved in the following activities:

  • Support tender quotations for industrial test means.
  • Contribute to Product test strategy and Industrialization test roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development of the product test specification defined by engineering team.
  • Develop the test bench technical specification along with the Engineering team and/or external supplier.
  • As per defined by Product test strategy and Industrial testing standards: develop, deploy, validate and maintain test bench, fixtures, test sequence, programing tools, etc.…
  • Manage testing means development or upgrade including configuration management (Hardware and Software) and related validation.
  • Manage maintenance and calibration of active tools/test fixtures (internal, external).
  • Ensure support to manufacturing (internal / external) related to industrial test means: deployment, upgrade, follow up, reporting, maintenance, debug, expertise and continuous improvement
  • Train the manufacturing workers regarding the correct application of testing procedures and the use of test benches.
  • Comply with EHS Alstom and external standards.
  • Propose improvement ideas and evolution of industrial test standards and tools.

Experience and skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the testing field, preferably in the electromechanical and railway sectors.
  • Electronics domain: scheme critical analysis, troubleshooting investigation, analog and digital components.
  • Competence in measurement tools/sensors used in testing applications, in programming and using data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to design and utilize CAD software and simulation tools for the development of test benches, tools, interfaces, etc...
  • Experience in hydraulics’ domain.
  • Test bench: structure and principle, maintenance, debug, troubleshooting investigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
