As part of the newly established ABB E-mobility marketing and communications organization, you will help position us as a trusted partner and authority in the electrification of mobility.

We are seeking a Technical Product Marketer to enhance the awareness, understanding, and adoption of our solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical marketing expertise with a builder mindset—someone who not only creates compelling content, but also develops lightweight applications, leverages AI models, and helps build internal tools that scale product marketing, sales enablement, and customer understanding.

You will report directly to the Head of Product & Portfolio Marketing and be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives, interactive assets, and digital tools for both technical decision-makers and business audiences. This role is critical in ensuring our stakeholders—customers, partners, and internal teams—fully grasp the value, differentiation, and system-level thinking behind our offerings.

In this role your main accountabilities will be:
  • Technical Asset Development
  • Produce high-quality technical marketing collateral such as white papers, solution briefs, product datasheets, case studies, technical presentations, webinars, and videos
  • Translate system architectures, power electronics, software platforms, and service models into structured, easy-to-consume formats
  • Application Development & Internal Product Building
  • Design and develop lightweight applications, tools, and interactive assets (e.g., configurators, calculators, comparison tools, demo environments) to support product marketing, sales, and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain internal-facing tools that improve scalability, consistency, and speed of product marketing execution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify repeatable marketing and enablement workflows that can be productized internally
  • Adapt technical content to resonate with both technical decision-makers (e.g., engineers, CTOs) and business personas (e.g., operations managers, executives)
  • Tailor depth, language, and format based on audience maturity and decision context
  • Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Develop, create, and refine a diverse range of content to support marketing initiatives, including blogs, videos, product guides, interactive tools, and social media campaigns
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across hardware, software, services, and system-level solutions
  • Product Launches & GTM Support
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, launch materials, demos, and enablement tools
  • Support internal readiness through structured narratives, FAQs, and playbooks
  • AI & Data Enablement
  • Leverage AI models and tools to accelerate content creation, analysis, personalization, and internal knowledge management
  • Experiment with AI-driven approaches for competitive intelligence, technical summarization, customer segmentation, and sales enablement
  • Help define best practices for responsible and effective AI usage within product marketing workflows
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, digital, and marketing teams to ensure accurate, credible, and compelling representation of our technical capabilities and solutions
  • Act as a bridge between deeply technical teams and market-facing functions
To make the above work, we are looking for a senior professional who as a strong ability to understand complex technical systems and communicate them clearly across different audiences. Other essential requirements:
  • Experience: 7–10 years of experience in technical product and marketing, ideally within energy, technology, industrial, or software-driven industries
  • Builder Mindset: Experience developing or contributing to internal tools, applications, or digital assets is highly valued
  • AI Literacy: Practical experience using AI tools or models to enhance productivity, insights, or content quality
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense for structure, clarity, and storytelling
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  • Creativity & Structure: Ability to turn complex technical details into compelling, value-driven, and scalable narratives
