A leading industrial machinery company in Cuneo is seeking a Technical Buyer to ensure efficient and strategic supply of components. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background and proven experience in supplier management and cost analysis. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Availability for travel is necessary.

Competenze

  • Proven experience in managing purchases of customized components/assemblies.
  • Previous direct experience of mechanical work in the workshop is a plus.
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.

Our company, leader in the sector of industrial machinery for the production and processing of hollow and flat glass, is looking for a Technical Buyer. The candidate will join the Purchasing area at the Cuneo headquarters,
within the Operations Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have to guarantee an efficient, quality and
strategic supply of designed components/assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Constantly monitor market trends, identifying new suppliers and strategic opportunities.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating advantageous contractual conditions.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyzes to ensure maximum efficiency in purchasing operations, constantly identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Selection: Select reliable suppliers who comply with the required quality standards.
  • Contract Management: Negotiation and management of supply contracts, ensuring compliance and protection of the company's interests.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, technical office and testing, to ensure an integrated and optimized supply chain.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
  • Education: mechanical engineering diploma or degree in mechanical engineering are preferable.
  • Proven experience in managing purchases of customized components/assemblies. Previous direct experienceof mechanical work in the workshop is a plus.
  • IT knowledge: office package and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken). Any other language skills are a plus.
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
