A leading engineering consultancy in Milan is seeking a Technical Advisory - MEP Consultant to support its Technical Advisory team. You will carry out inspections, document reviews, and risk analysis for multiple clients. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of relevant experience, a degree in engineering, and fluency in English and Italian. This role also requires readiness for occasional business trips. Role description

Arcadis is looking for a MEP Consultant, that will provide support to the company's Technical Advisory team and our roster of international clients in Due Diligence activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the identification of risks and opportunities on feasibility and transaction activities, carry out the verification of systems and related documentation performing both on‑site inspections at sites and Data Room analysis. They will be a point of reference for our clients regarding MEP findings and risks, taking on the responsibility of Project Manager for specific projects assigned.

Role accountabilities

• Inspection and technical verification of the systems (possible feasibility analyses are included);
• Document review of systems documentation (design, certifications, permitting and statutory documentation, etc);
• Analysis of the maintenance status of the property through an inspection to verify compliance with the present documentation, the presence of any discrepancies and the identification of risks and possible mitigation for both operational needs and transactional requirements.
• Analysis of the quality of the property, evaluating any costs and timing of corrective interventions based on the conservation conditions and problems encountered.
• Estimation of the multi‑year CapEx of the properties, tenancy analysis and lease agreements.
• Drafting of checklist and Q&A formulation together with the counterpart, following the evolution of the document progress from time to time.
• Drafting of associated reports and Technical Due Diligence for the MEP systems in English.

Qualifications & Experience

• Around 3/4 years of experience in the Due Diligence or Facility Management industry;
• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering; (other engineering backgrounds would be accepted in case of relevant experience).
• An excellent level of English and Italian (at least B2).
• Availability for business trips on the national / international territory.
