Randstad Digital, the specialized division of Randstad Italia in the search, selection, and training of ICT profiles, is seeking a System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE on behalf of a leading multinational technology company.

This company is a global leader in telecommunications, enterprise solutions, and consumer electronics, and a pioneer in the industry, committed to shaping the future of digital ecosystems through cloud computing, AI, and next-generation connectivity solutions. The company's Research Center in Pisa plays a central role within the Group, focusing on researching new technologies and applications in the field of digital power and electric vehicle.

The Position: System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE

We are looking for an expert to expand the team dedicated to developing next-generation Model-Based Design (MBD) tools.

Location: Pisa, Italy, on-site.

Contract: Permanent contract – via Randstad Italia SpA.

Salary: Approx. from €60,000 to €80,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience).

Language requirement: Proficiency in English is essential.

Knowledge of Java programming language is essential.

Responsabilità

In the role of System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of tools for simulation, code generation, and optimization for the Center's areas of expertise. You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative team, made up of experts and PhDs, who are passionate about research projects and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the development of proprietary Model-Based Design tools, including:
  • Code generation
  • Optimization
  • Simulation
  • Integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Functie-eisen

Minimum Requirements

• Education: M.Sc in Engineering. PhD preferred.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in object-oriented programming.
• Programming Language Skills:
  • Java (excellent level)
  • Python (good level)
• Model-Driven Engineering: Experience and expertise in Model-Driven Engineering (MDE), including model-to-text, text-to-model, or model-to-model transformations.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI):
  • Experience in building efficient AI infrastructures and improving the efficiency of AI models.
  • Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, CUDA, Pytorch, Mindspore), Large-Language Models (LLM), and integrating AI technologies into products.
• Testing: Experience in defining and executing unit tests and test automation scripts.
