A leading insurance company in Trieste is seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Scientist to join their Street Pricing Motor Unit. The candidate will handle data preparation, monitoring motor area performance, and developing reports. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in motor insurance, with strong skills in SQL, Python, and data analytics. Proficiency in English and Italian is essential. This is a full-time, permanent role.

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance field, preferably in motor insurance.
• Experience as a Data Engineer/Scientist, IT Analyst, or similar.
• Good knowledge of development environments like Jupyter.

Descrizione del lavoro

The candidate will be introduced to the Street Pricing Motor Unit and will be involved in the following activities:

• Data preparation and infrastructure maintenance
• Motor Area performance monitoring
• Development and updating of unit reports
• Data development and preparation

Technical Skills

• Experience as Data Engineer/Scientist, IT Analyst, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance field, preferably in motor insurance
• Good knowledge of Data Lakes, SQL, Python, and development environments like Jupyter
• Experience working with cloud environments
• Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
• Strong skills in Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Data analytics and reporting expertise
