Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, JP AMZL Planning and Analytics

Amazon seeks a Senior Manager for Japan's Operations Planning and Execution that combines strategic vision with collaborative and analytical skills to build and improve the Japan transportation network. In this role you will lead a team in our Tokyo headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost while building towards a long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Think strategically and develop 5-year plans across different organizations
• Autonomously come up with and quickly implement innovative and disruptive ideas
• Continuously learn new skills and knowledge areas to grow, develop, and better serve our customers
• Influence a broad set of stakeholders and work with diverse and dynamic teams
• Solve analytical problems and draw conclusions from large complex data sets
• Manage, coach, and develop colleagues to build a stronger team

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of supply chain experience
• 4+ years of team management experience
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience delivering cross functional projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery
