Specialista Senior / Project Manager

Specialist | Full-Time | Engineering

We are looking for a Specialist - Process Engineer for Handling & Logistic to join our Blades Process Engineering organization in Taranto. As part of the Logistic & Handling team, you will contribute to designing, optimizing, and standardizing the processes for the safe and efficient movement of wind turbine blades and their components. You will work closely with colleagues in Process, Tooling, Documentation, Operational Support, and Training, ensuring that our operations deliver high standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize logistic & handling processes for blade manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze current ("as-is") processes and define future-state solutions.
  • Develop process requirements and specifications.
  • Support industrialization and standardization activities across manufacturing sites.
  • Use digital tools and data analysis to drive performance improvements.
  • Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
  • Apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and secure product quality.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the factory environment.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Bachelor or Master).
  • Green Belt Lean certification preferred.
  • Around 6 years of experience in process engineering roles within manufacturing or logistics.
  • Experience in:
    • Process requirements formulation and process flow creation.
    • Logistic & handling process specification.
    • Data analysis for process optimization.
    • Lean and data-driven organizations.
    • Applying structured problem-solving tools (FMEA, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
Competencies
  • Technical and analytical expertise in handling & logistics processes.
  • Knowledge or interest in composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins).
  • Strong ability to design and optimize processes for large components and raw materials.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Comfortable working in factory environments and engaging with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and networking skills in an international setting.
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.
